Windows Web : Prod and Preprod
This document aims to provide comprehensive guidance for performing the Fingerprint signing with the help of the Precision PB1000 L1 device in the Windows web browser with CDSL as the Esigning Service Provider (ESP) in both the Production and Pre-Production environment.
To verify the device registration status of the device, please visit the following link https://pbrdms.precisionbiometric.co.in/RDMS_Server_Prod/RegisteredDeviceInfo.aspx. Enter the device serial number and click on the verify button. The device registration status will appear. If any help is required please drop an email to [email protected] for further assistance.
Below are the prerequisites required to perform the Aadhaar-based fingerprint signing in the production environment with the help of the Precision PB1000 L1 device.
1. Precision RD Service Driver: Click here to download the driver
2. Precision Biometric Device L1 (PB1000 L1).
Below are the steps required to set up the above-mentioned drivers to perform the signing in a production environment.
Step 1: Download the driver. Once the driver is downloaded. Double-click on the downloaded file.
Step 2: A window_Driver folder will open. Click on the “Window_Driver” Folder.
Step 3: An InnaITAadhaar application will appear double click on it.
Step 4: An interface will open. Click on the “Extract all” button.
Step 5: An Interface will appear to select the destination to extract the folder. Leave it as default. Click on “Extract”.
Step 6: The extracting process will start. Please wait for a while.
Step 7: A Windows driver folder will appear. Click on the “Windows_Driver” Folder.
Step 8: Double-click on the InnaIT Aadhaar Application.
Step 9: An interface to set up the RD Service will appear. Click on the “Next” button.
Step 10: The License Agreement interface will appear. Click on the “I Agree” button.
Step 11: A window will appear asking to choose the install location. Leave it as default. Click on the “Next” button.
Step 12: A window will appear asking to choose the environment. Select the Pre ProductionURL and click on the “Next” button.
Step 13: A log setting window will appear. Click on the “Next” button.
Step 14: A proxy setting window will appear. Click on the “Next” button.
Step 15: The installation process will start. Please wait for a few seconds.
Step 16: The innaITAadhaar service will automatically start. Please wait for a few seconds.
Step 17: The Installation process will be completed. Click on the “Close” button.
Step 18: Click on the search bar on the Windows taskbar. Search for the services in the system.
Step 19: Search for the InnaITAadhaar. Click on “InnaITAadhaar”. A side window will appear. Click on the “Restart” the service.
Step 20: The InnaITAadhaar Application will restart. Please wait for a few seconds.
Step 21: Once the process is completed. Insert the PB1000 L1 Biometric device into the system. A message will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen stating “We’re setting up “pb1000”.
Step 22: A confirmation message will appear stating “Device ready to use. PB1000 powered by Precision”.
Step 23: Paste C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Precision%20Biometric/InnaITAadhaar/PrecisionRDServiceL1Client.html in your browser. An interface will appear. Click on the “Discover RD Service” button.
Step 24: A message will appear. Click on the “OK” button.
Step 25: Another message will appear stating “Precision RD Service Discover Successfully”. Click on the “OK” button.
Step 26: Click on the “Capture” button an interface will appear on the screen. Place your finger firmly on the biometric device. The Pid Data column will be filled ensuring the device is capturing the fingerprint.
Step 27: Navigate to the signing link sent to the signer’s email (provided while initiating the contract).
Step 28: The pre-verification page will open, where the user needs to perform verification using a one-time OTP. Click on the “Get OTP” button.
Step 29: The user will receive the OTP on the email provided during contract initiation.
Step 30: Enter the OTP received via email and click on the “Verify” button.
Step 31: Upon successful verification, the user will land on the contract page. Click on the “I want to sign” button to proceed.
Step 32: The CDSL Interface will open, Please wait for a second. It will automatically discover the RD Service Installed on the device.
Step 33: Once device discovery is completed. The RD service will automatically detected.
Step 34: Fill in the Aadhaar Number. Tick the consent Box.
Step 35: Click on the “Start Capture” button to perform the signing.
Step 36: An interface will appear on the screen. Place your finger firmly on the device. The fingerprint will be automatically captured.
Step 37: The user will be automatically redirected to the signed contract where they can see their signature affixed to it. Click on “Done” to complete the signing process.
Step 38: The user will see the Success page and can click on the “Great” button or be redirected to the success URL set by the contract initiator after 5 seconds.
Step 39: The user will receive a confirmation email with the header “Confirmation of signing the document,” containing the signed contract.
Step 40: Once all signers have signed the contract, the user will receive another email with the header “Your document signing has been finalized successfully,” containing the final signed contract and the Audit Trail Certificate.

Step 11: A window will appear asking to choose the install location. Leave it as default. Click on the “Next” button.
Step 12: A window will appear asking you to choose the environment. Select the Pre ProductionURL and click on the “Next” button.
