Introduction

The users can seamlessly leverage Aadhar-based fingerprint signing using biometric devices with the help of the Contract360 App.

The fingerprint signing is seamlessly integrated into the Contract360 app environment, providing users with a more streamlined and intuitive experience. This allows users to leverage biometric devices, such as fingerprint scanners to authenticate their identity and sign documents directly within Contract360 Android applications.

This document aims to provide comprehensive guidance for performing the Fingerprint signing with the help of the device IDEMIA MSO 1300 E3 RD L1 using the Contract360 Preproduction App with CDSL as the Esigning Service Provider (ESP) in the Preproduction environment.

Contract Signing using Contract360 Pre-production App

The IDEMIA MSO 1300 E3 RD 1 device is whitelisted for the production environment by default. To use the Morpho L1 device in a pre-production environment the device needs to be whitelisted for the pre-production environment.

To whitelist the device for the pre-production environment please drop an email to [email protected] along with the device serial number requesting to whitelist the device for the pre-production environment.

Prerequisites Required:

Below are the prerequisites required to perform the Aadhaar-based fingerprint signing using the Contract360 Pre-production app using the IDEMIA Morpho L1 device.

1. MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App: Download from the Google Play Store.

2. IDEMIA Morpho Biometric Device L1 (MSO 1300 E3 RD 1).

4. Contract360 App: Please contact your account or Customer success manager to get the credentials to access the Contract360 Pre-production app.

Once you have all the above-mentioned prerequisites follow the below steps to set up the IDEMIA Morpho L1 device to perform the signing.

Steps to Follow:

Step 1: Open the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App and allow all the permissions that appear on the screen.

Step 2: Since the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App is configured for the Production environment by default. You need to configure the app for the pre-pod environment.

Step 3: To set the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App for the preprod environment you need to follow the number sequence and create a pattern using the number sequence. The sequence is 11010110010 where 1 means clicking on the IDEMIA Logo which is at the bottom of the screen and 0 means clicking on the “IDEMIA augmented identify ” which is beside the logo. Once this is done the confirmation message will be displayed that the “RD Service has been configured into Pre-Production Mode”. To again set the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App for the prod environment click on the IDEMIA logo at the bottom of the screen 11 times or reinstall the app.

Step 4: Before connecting the Morpho L1 Device to the Android mobile device ensure that in the Mobile Settings App “Set Time Automatically” is turned on. Connect the Morpho Device to the Andriod Mobile and allow all the permissions that are prompted on the screen.

Step 4.1: If no permission appears on the screen go to the mobile setting apps search for the “OTG Connection” turn on the toggle and allow all the permissions.

Step 5: After accepting the permission the device syncing process will be started and the morpho device will be automatically registered. A confirmation message will appear stating “Device is ready to use”. This process may take a few seconds to complete.

Step 6: Navigate to the signing link sent to the signer’s email and mobile number (provided while initiating the contract).

Step 7: Once the signing link is clicked the user will automatically navigated to the Contract360 App. The pre-verification page will open, where the user needs to perform verification using a one-time OTP. Click on the “Get OTP” button.

Step 8: The user will receive the OTP on their email and mobile number provided during contract initiation.

Step 9: Enter the OTP received via email or mobile number and click on the “Verify” button.

Step 10: Upon successful verification, the user will land on the contract page. Click on the “I want to sign” button to proceed.

Step 11: The CDSL Interface will appear. Please enter the Aadhaar Number. Tick the consent box. Click the “Proceed button” to continue.

Step 12: An Interface will appear for fingerprinting Authentication. Click the “Proceed” button to continue.

Step 13: The Morpho Rd Service App will automatically open. Place your finger on the device and a confirmation message will appear once the fingerprint is detected.

Step 14: Once the fingerprint is captured. A validation screen will appear.

Step 15: The user will be automatically redirected to the signed contract where they can see their signature affixed to the contract. Click on “Done” to complete the signing process

Step 16: The user will see the Success page and can click on the “Great” button or be redirected to the success URL set by the contract initiator after 5 seconds.

Step 17: The user will receive a confirmation email with the header “Confirmation of signing the document,” containing the signed contract along with the text SMS.

Step 18: Once all signers have signed the contract, the user will receive another email with the header “Your document signing has been finalized successfully,” containing the final signed contract and the Audit Trail Certificate.
