FIU/SAR Reporting

1min

In the Cases Page, users have the ability to generate Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) / Suspicious Activity reports (SAR) directly from each case. This functionality allows teams to report suspicious transactions to regulatory bodies in a standardized format. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to generate FIU reports and configure the required settings:

  1. Accessing the Case:
    • Navigate to the Cases Page.
    • Click on the case you wish to generate a report for. This opens the detailed view of the case.
  2. Generate Report Button:
    • In the top-right corner of the case details view, you will see a "Generate Report" button. Click on it to start the report generation process.
  3. Selecting Report Type:
    • After clicking the "Generate Report" button, you will be prompted to select the type of report you want to generate. Available report formats include:
      • General Transaction Format
      • UPI Payment
      • Cross-Border Wire Transfer
      • Wallet Payment
    • Select the appropriate format based on the transaction type or regulatory requirement.
  4. Customizing Report Fields:
    • The system will automatically pull data from the transaction and populate the report based on the team’s payload. However, mandatory and optional fields may vary depending on the report type.
    • In the Settings Page, teams can configure mandatory and optional fields for each report type. This mapping ensures that the correct data is captured for regulatory submissions.
  5. Navigate to the Settings Page:
    • Go to the Settings Page to configure report templates and mappings.
  6. Mapping Mandatory and Optional Fields:
    • For each report type (e.g., General Transaction, UPI Payment, etc.), you can define which fields are mandatory and which are optional based on your organization’s compliance requirements.
    • These fields will map to the team’s transaction payload to ensure that the correct data is included in the generated report.
  7. Team-Specific Configuration:
    • Teams can customize their report field mappings to match the unique data elements they capture during transactions, ensuring flexibility and compliance with specific regulations.

Once the report is generated, review the populated fields to ensure all mandatory data is included. After confirmation, download the report in the required format (e.g., PDF or CSV) for submission to the regulatory body or internal compliance team.

This user manual helps ensure that teams can generate accurate FIU reports efficiently, tailoring them to specific transaction types and regulatory requirements.
