Step 4 - Sequential & Parallel Signing
Sequential signing and parallel signing are two approaches to obtaining multiple signatures. Sequential signing follows a step-by-step process, incorporating each signer's input before moving on. In contrast, parallel signing enables simultaneous signing without dependencies.
Sequential signing involves obtaining signatures in a specific order, one after another. The document is presented to the first signer, who signs it before passing it onto the next signer. This continues until all required signatures are obtained. The document will be sent to signers in the order their e-mail/mobile details were entered. When the last signer finishes signing, all parties receive an email with the signed PDFs attached.
Parallel signing enables multiple signers to sign the document simultaneously. Each signer can review and sign independently, without waiting for others. It's beneficial when time is limited and signers don't need to review each other's input. All the signers receive the document simultaneously and can sign in any order. When the final signer completes the process, all parties receive an email with the signed PDFs attached.
Set the value of the key "isParallel": true to start the Parallel signing workflow. By default, the workflow is set to be Sequential signing.
