Profile
This tab gives multiple options viz, adding new RM, adding a new role, managing the existing roles, changing password, and logout.
- Click on the 'New RM' option on the 'Profile' menu.
- We are directed to a page where we have to add the details of the RM that is to be added.
- Fill out all the relevant details pertaining to the RM viz. Manager code, name, and mobile number.
- Assign a role from the dropdown menu.
- The option to assign a manager to the RM is also available by clicking on the 'Assign a manager now?' checkbox.
- Once this box is checked, a new dropdown appears where the manager is selected to whom the RM is subordinate.
- Click on Create Manager.
- The new RM is added to the list.
Users have roles that grant them the ability to take action. Different users have different accessible grants. These grants depend on the level of hierarchy they are on in the organization and allow the users to take action.
They will also be able to introduce their own unique roles which will have their own set of grants/ permissions.
- Click on the 'New Role' option on the 'Profile' menu.
- We are directed to a page where we have to add the details of the role that is to be added.
- Add the name of the role that is to be created/added. This name can be customized according to the terms specific to the organization.
- Select the grants from the checklist to decide what this particular role is authorized to do on the portal.
- Click on the 'Create Role' button.
We can also manage the existing roles in the portal and edit/update the set of grants that are given to them. These existing roles can also be deleted if required.
- Click on the 'Manage Role' option on the 'Profile' menu.
- We are directed to a page where all the existing roles in the portal can be viewed.
- Click on the role that needs to be modified.
- A menu will appear with a checklist where the grants can be checked/unchecked according to requirement.
- Once the modification is made, click on the 'Update Role' button.
- Click on the 'Manage Role' option on the 'Profile' menu.
- We are directed to a page where all the existing roles in the portal can be viewed.
- Click on the role that needs to be deleted.
- Select a substitute role from the dropdown menu
- Click on the 'Delete Role' button.
The Change Password option is used to change the current password and set a new password for the portal. It can be done in a few simple steps:
- Click on the "Change Password" option on the "Profile" menu.
- We are directed to a screen where we can change the password.
- Enter the existing password in the specified box.
- Enter the New password and also re-enter the new password to confirm it.
- Click on the Set Password button, once the password is set.
Note: The password-
- Should contain a combination of both upper and lower case letters (a-z & A-Z)
- Should have at least one digit {0-9} and one special character {! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ }
- Must be at least 8 characters long and length not to exceed 35 characters.
This option is simply used to log out from the RM portal.
