The Multi-Lingual Support or Hyperlocalization feature allows users to interact with the platform in their preferred languages, including both Left-to-Right (LTR) languages like English and Right-to-Left (RTL) languages like Arabic and Hebrew. The system supports easy configuration of both the primary interface language and any additional languages, ensuring a seamless experience for users across different linguistic backgrounds.

Key Features

  • Language Selection: Users can select their preferred language from a dropdown menu available throughout the platform.
  • Dynamic Content Translation: All interface content, including forms, buttons, error messages, and other UI elements, is dynamically translated based on the selected language.
  • Localization: The platform adjusts region-specific details like date formats, currency symbols, and more according to the selected language.
  • Admin Configuration: Administrators can easily add and manage multiple languages through the platform’s admin panel.

Configuration Guide

Setting Up Multi-Lingual Pages

  1. Creating Multi-Lingual Pages:
    • When setting up a new page or flow, administrators can configure the same page for multiple languages. This is done within the page settings, where you can add and manage language-specific content.
  2. Configuring Page Elements:
    • Each page element, such as input labels, button texts, and header information, must be configured for each supported language.
    • Typical elements that require translation include:
      • Input labels
      • Validation messages
      • Loader messages
      • Headers
      • Descriptions and titles in the info panel
      • FAQs and hint messages etc.Β 
  3. Visual Verification:
    • Once the configuration is complete, use the autologin link to preview the user interface. Ensure that the language switcher functions correctly and that all elements appear in the selected language.
  4. Handling Static Texts:
    • Any hard-coded text strings, such as error messages or system prompts, must be manually translated and configured in the selected language.

Managing External Integrations

  • Handling Language in External Integrations:
    • For features like video verification or contract management, the interface must support multiple languages. Each language will have its own template and configuration settings, which must be selected during the setup process.
    • In cases where external integrations do not support multi-lingual functionality, ensure that users are informed, and provide default language options.

The following widgets and flows can be configured to support multiple languages:

  • Forms V2
  • OTP V2
  • Jumper Page
  • Summary Page

Create a New Multi-Lingual Translation

  1. Access the Multi-Lingual Tab:
    • Navigate to the 'Grants & Configurationο»Ώ' section in the admin panel.
    • Select 'Create New' under the Multi-Lingual tab.
  2. Select the Flow:
    • Choose the desired flow from the drop-down menu and click 'Save.'
  3. Add Languages:
    • Click on 'Add Language' to include the required languages for the flow.
    • Select all the languages that need to be supported. These will appear in the configuration panel.
  4. Translate Content:
    • For each language, click 'Edit Translation' to start translating the various fields.
    • Ensure that all necessary sections of the page layout are translated accurately.
  5. Save Configurations:
    • After completing the translation for all elements and languages, click 'Save.'
    • Repeat this process for each additional language required.

RTL Language Support

In addition to LTR languages, the Multi-Lingual Support feature also accommodates Right-to-Left (RTL) languages such as Arabic and Hebrew.

Key Points

  • Layout Adjustment: The entire layout automatically shifts to RTL orientation when an RTL language is selected, affecting headers, footers, sidebars, and other UI components.
  • Content Preservation: Existing LTR content remains unchanged when switching to an RTL language, ensuring user-entered data is preserved.
  • Component Translation: All input labels, validation messages, static texts, loaders, and other UI components are translated to the selected RTL language.

Language Toggle

  • Users can toggle between languages using the language selection dropdown. When a language is selected, all relevant page elements, including input fields, buttons, and error messages, will update to reflect the chosen language.

Draft Preservation

  • If a user changes the language while filling out a form and later resumes the application, the platform will preserve both the language and the layout. This ensures a consistent experience, with all previously entered data remaining intact.

Validation and Conditional Logic

  • Validation messages and conditional logic, such as hiding or showing fields based on user input, are adapted to the selected language. This includes applying regex rules and ensuring that input types match the language-specific requirements.
