A Locational Dropdown element is a UI component that is used to select a location, such as a country, state, or city, from a list of options. It is commonly used to gather information about a user's location.
Element Details of Location Dropdown
- Variable Name: The variable used to identify the element is entered here.
- Entity Name: This name will be displayed in the location dropdown heading.
- Search Instruction: This field is used to add any specific guidelines or instructions on how to search for a particular location from the dropdown.
- Search radius(in KM): This field is used to specify the value in KM that we wish to search for when selecting an entity from the dropdown menu.
- Automatically detect location: This radio button option is used to seek permission from the user to fetch the user's current location or not.
- Information to be shown related to the entity: Using this group checkbox we can select which fields related to the entity should be shown to the user, such as Name(default enabled), Address line one, Address line two, PIN Code, Distance from the current/selected location.
- Entity data set: We can choose the source of the data set for the entity such as, 'Upload' or 'Pick from Assignment Bucket'.
