Handoff

Handoff is the process where the application is handed off from one entity to another during any stage of the onboarding journey. It can be from merchant(DIY) to RM, RM to backops, RM to merchant(DIY), backops to RM, and so on. There can be one or more than one handoff in a single journey.

For instance, in an onboarding journey, an RM fills up all the details of the onboarding merchant, and then the application is handed off to the Backops user for 'partial acceptance'. (The application can also be handed off back to the RM if the details are not correct to fill in the correct information again). The Backops user after checking all the details hands off the application to the merchant, who then signs the contract. The signed application is then handed off to the Backops user for final verification (accept/reject/draft/redo).

RM Handoff

  1. Select 'Yes' from the 'Is Handoff' dropdown.
  2. Select 'RM' from the 'Select Role' dropdown.
  3. Select 'email', 'sms', and/or 'whatsapp' from the 'Notification' dropdown by clicking on the checkbox(es).
  4. Select email/sms/whatsapp template.
  5. Click on 'Create'.

Merchant Handoff

  1. Select 'Yes' from the 'Is Handoff' dropdown.
  2. Select 'Merchant' from the 'Select Role' dropdown.
  3. Select 'email', 'sms', and/or 'whatsapp' from the 'Notification' dropdown by clicking on the checkbox(es).
  4. Select email/sms/whatsapp template.
  5. Select email/sms/whatsapp page from the dropdown.
  6. Select email/sms/whatsapp variable from the dropdown.
  7. Click on 'Create'.

Backops Handoff

  1. Select 'Yes' from the 'Is Handoff' dropdown.
  2. Select 'Backops' from the 'Select Role' dropdown.
  3. Select 'email', 'sms', and/or 'whatsapp' from the 'Notification' dropdown by clicking on the checkbox(es).
  4. Select email/sms/whatsapp template.
  5. Choose 'RM'/'Merchant' from the 'Select handoff from backops role' dropdown.
  6. If 'RM' is selected then,
    • Select 'email', 'sms', and/or 'whatsapp' from the 'Notification' dropdown by clicking on the checkbox(es).
    • Select email/sms/whatsapp template.
  7. If 'Merchant' is selected then,
    • Select 'email', 'sms', and/or 'whatsapp' from the 'Notification' dropdown by clicking on the checkbox(es).
    • Select email/sms/whatsapp template.
    • Select email/sms/whatsapp page from the dropdown.
    • Select email/sms/whatsapp variable from the dropdown.
  8. Click on 'Create'.
