Mobile Web : Prod and Pre-Prod

Introduction

This document aims to provide comprehensive guidance for performing the Fingerprint signing with the help of the device IDEMIA MSO 1300 E3 RD L1 in the mobile web browser with eMudhra as the Esigning Service Provider (ESP) in both the Production and Pre-Production environment.

Contract Signing In Production Environment

To use the IDEMIA MSO 1300 E3 RD L1 device in the production environment it should be whitelisted for the production environment. By default, the device is whitelisted for the production environment.

You can verify the status of the device by visiting: https://rdserviceonline.com/pages/172iserialvalidatenumber. Enter the serial number of the device and the device status will appear as "Whitelisted".

If the IDEMIA MSO 1300 E3 RD 1 device is not whitelisted for the production environment please drop an email to [email protected] along with the device serial number requesting to whitelist the device for the production environment.

Prerequisites Required:

Below are the prerequisites required to perform the Aadhaar-based fingerprint signing in the production environment with the help of the IDEMIA Morpho L1 device.

1. Morpho L1 RD Service App: Download from the Google Play Store.

2. eMudhra App: Download from the Google Play Store.

3. IDEMIA Morpho Biometric Device L1 (MSO 1300 E3 RD 1).

If eMudhra APK is required please contact your Account or Customer Success Manager to get the APK for the App.

Once you have all the above-mentioned prerequisites follow the below steps to set up the IDEMIA Morpho L1 device to perform the signing.

Steps to Follow:

Step 1: Before connecting the Morpho Device to the Android mobile device ensure that in the mobile settings app “Set Time Automatically” is turned on. Connect the Morpho Device to the Andriod Mobile Allow all the permissions that are prompted on the screen.

Step 1.1: If no permission appears on the screen go to the mobile setting apps search for the “OTG Connection” turn on the toggle and allow all the permissions that are prompted on the screen.

Step 2: After accepting the permission the device syncing process will be started and the morpho device will be automatically registered. A confirmation message will appear stating “Device is ready to use”. This process may take a few seconds to complete.

Step 3: Navigate to the signing link sent to the signer’s email and mobile number (provided while initiating the contract).

Step 4: The pre-verification page will open, where the user needs to perform verification using a one-time OTP. Click on the “Get OTP” button.

Step 5: The user will receive the OTP on their email and mobile number provided during contract initiation.

Step 6: Enter the OTP received via email or mobile number and click the “Verify” button.

Step 7: Upon successful verification, the user will land on the contract page. Click on the “I want to sign” button to proceed.

Step 8: The eMudhra interface will open. Click on “Sign using the Mobile app”.

Step 9: The eMudhra app will open. The user needs to fill in the Aadhar Number. Click on “Select Device” and from the list of devices select the IDEMIA (Morhpo) - L1. Device status will appear as connected. A confirmation message will appear click “OK‘.

Step 10: Tick the consent box and click the “Accept & Continue”.

Step 11: Once the above step is completed now you are ready to sign the document Click on the “Perform esign” Button.

Step 12: Morpho Rd Service will automatically open. Place your finger on the device and a confirmation message will appear once the fingerprint is detected along with a beep sound.

Step 13: The confirmation of signing will be prompted on the screen. Click “OK”.

Step 14: The user will be automatically redirected to the signed contract page where they can see their signature affixed to the contract. Click on “Done” to complete the signing process.

Step 15: The user will see the Success page and can click on the “Great” button or be redirected to the success URL set by the contract initiator after 5 seconds.

Step 16: The user will receive a confirmation email with the header “Confirmation of signing the document,” containing the signed contract along with the text SMS.

Step 17: Once all signers have signed the contract, the user will receive another email and SMS with the header “Your document signing has been finalized successfully,” containing the final signed contract and the Audit Trail Certificate.

Contract Signing In Pre-Production Environment

The IDEMIA MSO 1300 E3 RD 1 device is whitelisted for the production environment by default. To use the Morpho L1 device in a pre-production environment the device needs to be whitelisted for the pre-production environment.

To whitelist the device for the pre-production environment please drop an email to [email protected] along with the device serial number requesting to whitelist the device for the pre-production environment.

Below are the prerequisites required to perform the Aadhaar-based fingerprint signing in the pre-production environment with the help of the IDEMIA Morpho L1 device.

1. MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App: Download from the Google Play Store.

2. eMudhra sandbox App: Please contact your Account or Customer success manager to get the credentials to access the sandbox app.

3. IDEMIA Morpho Biometric Device L1 (MSO 1300 E3 RD 1).

Once you have all the above-mentioned prerequisites follow the below steps to set up the IDEMIA Morpho L1 device to perform the signing.

To make the setup process for fingerprint signing easier, we have included a video tutorial in the documentation. This video offers a step-by-step guide on how to configure the fingerprint device to perform secure signings

Steps to Follow:

Step 1: Open the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App and allow all the permissions that appear on the screen.

Step 2: Since the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App is configured for the Production environment by default. You need to configure the app for the pre-pod environment.

Step 3: To set the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App for the preprod environment you need to follow the number sequence and create a pattern using the number sequence. The sequence is 11010110010 where 1 means clicking on the IDEMIA Logo which is at the bottom of the screen and 0 means clicking on the “IDEMIA augmented identify ” which is beside the logo. Once this is done the confirmation message will be displayed that the “RD Service has been configured into Pre-Production Mode”. To again set the MSO 1300 E3 L1 RD Service App for the prod environment click on the IDEMIA logo at the bottom of the screen 11 times or reinstall the app.
